1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CredKeep (the "Service"), available at https://credkeep-inky.vercel.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including account holders, administrators, and any employees or team members added to an organization account.

2. Description of Service

CredKeep is an employee credential and certification compliance tracking platform. The Service helps organizations — including healthcare clinics, dental offices, and fleet/trucking companies — manage, monitor, and stay on top of employee licenses, certifications, and professional credentials.

Key features include:

• Centralized tracking of employee credentials and expiration dates
• Automated email reminders for upcoming renewals
• Secure document storage for license copies and certificates
• Compliance dashboards and reporting

3. Account Registration & Responsibilities

To use CredKeep, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and up-to-date account information
• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring that any employee data you enter is accurate and that you have the right to store it in the Service

4. Free & Paid Plans

CredKeep offers a free tier with limited features, as well as paid subscription plans with additional capabilities.

• Free Plan: Available at no cost with basic credential tracking features. Free accounts are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page.
• Paid Plans: Subscription billing is handled through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the selected billing interval (monthly or annual) until you cancel.

Prices may change with reasonable notice. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. We will notify you via email before any price increase.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use CredKeep to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
• Store fraudulent, falsified, or counterfeit credential information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The CredKeep name, logo, website design, software, and all related materials are the intellectual property of CredKeep and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

7. Data Ownership

You own your data. All employee information, credential records, and documents you upload to CredKeep remain your property. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

You can:

• Export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV)
• Delete individual records or your entire account and all associated data
• Correct any information directly through the platform

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your data or close your account.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CredKeep and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

CredKeep is a tracking and reminder tool. It is your responsibility to verify compliance with applicable regulations. We are not liable for any consequences resulting from expired, invalid, or missing credentials.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects in the Service will be corrected within a specific timeframe

10. Termination

You may close your account and stop using CredKeep at any time. To cancel a paid subscription, manage your billing through your account settings or contact us directly.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that could harm other users or our infrastructure. Where possible, we will provide notice before termination.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after account closure to allow for recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.

11. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with CredKeep within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, contact us at babu232442@gmail.com for a full refund.

After the 30-day window, refunds are generally not provided for the current billing period. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify you via email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use of CredKeep after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
